Dears..
I have found a workaround for running the old Java Initiator (1.2 , 1.3) on windows 7 and here is the way to do it. (please note that when the Java applet will run, it will turn off window Aero and some time may cause some flicking in the gadgets)

1.****** You need to download in install Java Runtime v. 1.4 (I’ve try to run it on *version 1.6 u16 but it didn’t work)

2.****** Install the Java Initiator you need to use with internet explorer (new for windows 7!)
3.****** Now brows to (C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_11\bin\client) (where C is your default OS partition)

4.****** Copy the file JVM.dll

5.****** Paste the above file in the following folder after renaming the existent *one (C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.23\bin\hotspot)

6.****** That’s it. Now go and run the desired application.

USB 3.0 Specifications released

The new standard for USB (Universal Serial Bus) 3.0, also known as SuperSpeed USB, has released the specifications for its next major upgrade. USB 3.0 is meant to surpass its current predecessor USB 2.0, which supports up to 480 Mbps data transfer. The USB 3.0 will support speeds up to 4.8 Gbps, roughly 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

The new standard is expected to be more power-efficient over its predecessor. Your old devices will not be garbage just yet, since USB 3.0 will be fully backwards compatible with your old devices, supporting USB 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0.

Google announced a brand new Gmail feature today: Video conversations in Gmail - called "Gmail Video and Voice".

This service combines the chatting abilities of GTalk, previously used in Gmail for chatting inside the browser. Google has now enabled full video, voice, and text chat inside the browser to Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer users on Windows and Firefox users on the Mac, with possible expansion to Linux and mobile phones later. The service works by downloading and installing a small plugin which enables Gmail to use your webcam and microphone and enables the video and voice features of the service.

Gmail users will find this addition useful, because many of their existing contacts use Gmail or GTalk already, and no dedicated application is necessary.

We have to agree with Mary Jo Foley, in the latest Windows 7 M3 Build, we see that Windows 7 looks a whole lot like Vista. There are updates for sure, but they're subtle differences—a return to the Ribbon interface, a simplified start menu, My Documents replaced with Libraries, fewer User Account Control alerts and a "light" Windows Media Player to name a couple. From a superficial standpoint alone, not a lot has changed (though admittedly, that Vista background isn't helping much).

As with earlier versions of Windows, that brings up the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties page with the "Start Menu" tab highlighted. Choose the "Customize…" button in the upper right-hand corner to bring up the Customize Start Menu dialog.
In the Customize Start Menu dialog, you'll see a number of radio buttons in a window with a scroll bar down its side. Scroll down almost to the bottom, and you'll see the option "Run command" with an unchecked check box next to it. Check the box.

Kod dodavanja mreznog printera na printer serveru odabrati "Local printer attached to this computer". Bolje da je printer na statickoj IP adresi pa kod instalacije kliknuti na novi port i upistai staticku adresu printera. Nakon sto je dodan na serveru dodati ga koriniku kao Network printer.

u DHCPu na Reservation mu dodjeliti staticku IP adresu.

Printer pooling - djeli print na vise printera.

Moguce redirektat spool na drugi drive da smanjimo teret sa jednog hard drivea. Desni klik na prazno mjesto..Server Properties->Advanced tabu odrednica Spool folder

Lockanje logina

Nakon 5 neuspjeloglogina log se kljuca i korinik se ne uspjeva ulogirati cak i ako upisuje ispravane informacije. Login ostaje zakljucan na 30min(Podeseno u defaultnoj frupnoj policy) i onda se sam otkljucava. Korinik ce dobiti poruku da je njegov account zakljucan. Admin otuljucava account na sljedeci nacin:
dvostruki klik na korisnika u active directory users i comp->tab accounts i odcekirati Account is locked

NE BRISATI USERA!Cak i kreiranje istog vise nece omoguciti prituo resursima.

PERMISIJE dodajemo nad objektima (oflder, printer..). Desni klik->Properties pa na security tab dodati tj chekirati željene permisije. Dodati usera i dodjeliti mu permisije.

Active directory Users and Computers

Start->all Programs->Administrative tools->Acitve directory users and computers

Sve organizirati u Organization units. Desni klikn na domenu->New->Organizational Unit

Znati razliku kreiranja kako user tako i computer accounta. Važne odrednice computer accounta su Location i Manged By osobine (desni klik na computer->Properties). Lokacion=fizička lokacija i Managed By= osoba odgovorna za taj server.

Properties usera sadrži: Adress, Account Profile, Telephone, Organization, Member of, Enviroment, Session, Remote controle i Terminala Services Profile.

Ako se ukaže potreba (npr user ide na odmor) user ili computer se mogu disablirati (desni klik->disable account).

Ukoliko korisnik previše puta ukuca pogrešan pass account se može ZAKLJUČATI. U tom slučaju izdaje si i poruka koja kaže da korisnik nema pravo da se više pokuša ulogirati. Da bi se account otključao: desni klik na usera->Unlock.

U slučaju da user ZABORAVI PASSWORD. Password se može resetovati.
Za resetovanje pass lokalnog usera:
Desni klikn na usera->Set Password..
Za reste pass domain usera:
desni klik->reset pass...

The official date for the launch of Firefox 3 is June 17, 2008, named "Download Day 2008." Firefox is aiming to set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours. There is not currently a standing record for this feat.^[56] As of June 17, 2008, more than 1.7 million people have pledged to download Firefox 3.^[57]

Download Day officially started at 11:16 a.m. PDT on June 17.^[58] With the announced date, the download day is June 18 for timezones greater than GMT +6, which includes half of Asia and all of Oceania.

The large number of users attempting to access the Mozilla website on June 17 caused it to become unavailable for at least a few hours and attempts at upgrading to the new version resulted in server timeouts. The site was not updated for the download of Firefox 3 until 12:00 PDT, two hours later than originally scheduled.^[59]^[60] As of 1:00 a.m. PDT, over 5 million people have downloaded Firefox 3. Browser Hijacking

Browser Hijacking predstavlja zlonamjerni kod koji mjenja postavke Internet Explorera. Najcešce promjeni home page i postavi novu stranicu za početnu mjenjajuci same registry postavke, tako da neprestano postavlja neželjenu stranicu za pocetnu cak i ako postavke pokusate rucno promjenuti, najcešce usmjeravajuci vas na stranice pornografskog sadržaja. (DA...to je ono mjesto gdje NE ZELITE biti :) )

Browser Hijacker može zabraniti pristup odredenim stranicama kao npr Lavasoft, ili onesposobiti antivirus ili anti-spyware software. Pored toga mogu izmjenuti HOSTS file na vašem sistemu koji mapira DNS adrese (URL adresu u IP adresu) pa tako svaki put kad ukucate npr www.bljesak.info mozete biti preusmjereni na sasvim drugu stranicu.

Što uraditi?

1.Prva stvar koju bi trebali uraditi je izvrsiti upadte Windowsa

2. Većina browser hijacking programa ce zatražiti vaše dopuštenje prije same instalacije na vaš sistem stoga uvijek kliknite na NO opciju ako niste savim sigurni sto instalirate (ovo ne važi uvijek, browser hijacking programi se mogu instalirati i samostalno na druge nacine)

3. Ad-aware i Spybot S&D su dva njačešća anti-spyware programa koja se preporucuju u borbi protiv ovakvih vrsta malicoznih programcica. Koristite ih.

4. Provjerite vaš HOSTS file. Nalazi se u C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS i nema nikavu ekstenziju pa sa liste programa izbarite i otvorite ga u nekom editoru. Normalan HOSTS bi trebao imati samo '127.0.0.1 localhost'unos, (ne uvijek..ovdje moze biti Nortonov unos). Nesto tipa 243.234.13.12 www.google.com ce preusmjeriti browser na 243.234.13.12 ukoliko je www.google.com zatražen. Izbrišite strane unose.

5. I zadnje.. i ono što od srca preporučujem..pocnite koristiti Mozzilu :). Buduci da je vecina ovih programa napisana iskljucivo za IE prelazak na neki drugi browser je najbezbolnija i najsigurnija varijanta.

Dreamfall

Evo postala sam pravi recenzor avantura al sto cu kad ih volim pa da iskustvo podjelim i sa vama.

Igra je odlicna! Grafika nadmasuje po meni sve dosadasnje igrice i sama prica ce vas tako uziviti da ce vam sati za igricom proletjeti u trenu. Ono sto smatraju jedinom manom dremfalla je nedostatak interakcije sa korisnikom. Tu se pomalo slazem..po meni trebalo je ubaciti jos koju tezu zagonetku. Ali hajde barem walkthrough necete morati koristit. Nemojte misliti da je igrica prelagana..naprotiv. Bit ce par trenutaka kad ce te dobro morati nategnuti svoje vijuge.

Eto dragi moji pa uzivajte.

Sljedeca na spisku je igrica Paradise. Autor je isti kao Syberie, pa me posebno raduje.

Apache - Zastita Administrativnog modula

Administartivni modul treba zastiti. U protivnom svako sa web browserom moze pristupiti vasim skriptama. Ono sto trebate je nacin da samo ovlasteni useri mogu pristupiti vaĹˇem administrativnom modulu.

Ako koristite Apache, najjednostavniji nacin da ovo postignete je da koristitke Apachov bulit-in autenitfikacijski sistem. E pa bacimo se na posao..

Prvo sto trebate uraditi je preseliti skripte u zaseban direktorij..mi cemo ga nazvati admin...u unutar ovog file kreirati file imena .htaccess. otvorite ovaj file u jednostavnom text editoru i unesite sljedece linije:

AuthType Basic
AuthName "Administration Module"
AuthUserFile /usr/local/apache/users
require valid-user

AuthUserFile je put do filea koji sadrzi usere i pass sa pristupom Administrativnom modulu. Prije nego napravimo ovaj file moramo napraviti jednu izmjenu u httpd.conf,Apache konfiguracijskom fileu. Unutar ovog file potrebno je pronaci tag te provjeriti da je unutar njega upisana vrijednost AllowOverride All.

I zadnji korak je kreiranje file sa passwordom. (onog na koji pokazuje .htaccess). Obicno u bin poddirektorije Apacha nalazi se htpasswd program. Pokrenite ga u komandnoj liniji sa dva parametra: lokacija na kojoj ce file biti zapisan i username ( u nasem slucaju newsadmin). Znaci to bi u nasem slucaju izgledalo ovako nekako..

htpasswd -c /usr/localapache/users newsadmin

I eto ga! nakon ispisa ove linije on ce vas pitati za unos i potvrdu passworda i posao je obavljen.

Mala napomena..u Windowsu necete moci imenovati file sa tockom na pocetku (.htaccess) pa ga samo fino reimenujte u komandnom promput REN komndom (REN htaccess .htaccess).
