jvm.dll error

Dears..
I have found a workaround for running the old Java Initiator (1.2 , 1.3) on windows 7 and here is the way to do it. (please note that when the Java applet will run, it will turn off window Aero and some time may cause some flicking in the gadgets)

1.****** You need to download in install Java Runtime v. 1.4 (I’ve try to run it on *version 1.6 u16 but it didn’t work)

2.****** Install the Java Initiator you need to use with internet explorer (new for windows 7!)
3.****** Now brows to (C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_11\bin\client) (where C is your default OS partition)

4.****** Copy the file JVM.dll

5.****** Paste the above file in the following folder after renaming the existent *one (C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.23\bin\hotspot)

6.****** That’s it. Now go and run the desired application.

USB active

The specification for USB states that the maximum length of a USB cable is 5 meters (16 feet). As a result, you cannot extend the distance of your USB device more than 16 feet without using a USB "active" extension cable (also known as a USB repeater cable). This cable contains active electronics which boost the USB signal for maximum reliability and performance over extended distances.

Up to 4 of these USB Active Extension cables can be linked together to extend the distance to your USB peripheral for up to 60 feet.

Control the Issuance of RDS CALs

This post is for customers or administrators who want to control which Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) servers are issued Remote Desktop Services client access licenses (RDS CALs) and which version of RDS CAL is issued to the RD Session Host servers. By default, a Remote Desktop license server issues an RDS CAL (if an appropriate RDS CAL is available) to any RD Session Host server that requests one on behalf of a client that is trying to connect to the RD Session Host server. This post also discusses how to control the auto-discovery of a license server running Windows Server 2008 R2 from terminal servers running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003.
